Brief
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is aware of the importance of providing greater opportunities for higher education to meet the increasing demand from high school graduates and their equivalents, and because of the increasing societal pressure by high school graduates and their guardians to enroll in Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman University and seeing that its colleges cannot cover the growing demand, in addition to the urgent need to open up new majors for women in the light of the Eighth Development Plan on women and Development, the College of Community was established based on Directive No. (446/MB) dated on 21-1-1432 A.H. to give opportunities to High School graduates to be admitted in higher education and qualified in disciplines that serve the needs of the labour market and mainly cover the requirements of the private sector. In light of the basic needs identified by the plan of the Ministry of Education for the next 10 years, the College of Community offers two programs, namely, administrative sciences and computer sciences and information technology.
