Scientific Organizations

Scientific associations are one of the main tools for developing academic work and vocational research. All developed countries agree on the importance of scientific associations as of the beginning of the 19th century, and the great impact they had on the scientific advancement that we are witnessing today on the international level.

Scientific associations are the forums that bring together their affiliates who meet on regular basis to discuss the ideas that contribute to the development of a specific specialization in science. This is done through specialized training courses, scientific journals, annual conferences, seminars, and workshops through which research is submitted and discussed with transparency to develop ideas and visions that can turn into reality to be utilized in the advancement of science and professional development.

From the start, PNU was keen to establish the Scientific Associations Department to become one of the tributaries of scientific movement within the university. The department is affiliated with the Vice Rectorate for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and its mission focuses on organizing the administrative procedures that support the establishment of scientific associations, under the umbrella of PNU; providing administrative consultations in the different fields; and facilitating the work of scientific associations for the benefit of their members, affiliates, and community; in addition to helping them develop their research outputs in their respective fields of specialization for the creation of a community of specialists in each field, and activating their role in developing theoretical and applied knowledge and constructive communication with the community inside PNU and elsewhere.
